Recover Your Pelvic Floor and Sanity Program

(Introduction, Levels 1 & 2)

THIS 8-WEEK PROGRAM IS IDEAL FOR:

THE WHY:

Deep stabilizing muscles become inhibited when we experience pain and injury. They do not just naturally come back online, but we have to specifically retrain the entire core, including the breath, to work together. To be healthy, the deep core has to have synergy of the diaphragm, pelvic floor, transversus abdominis and multifidus. Many traditional core exercises repetitively increase intra-abdominal pressure putting downward forces on the pelvic floor. When done repetitively, this can lead to core and pelvic floor dysfunction.

In this online workshop, you will learn the theory, breathwork and the importance of reducing intra-abdominal pressure to recover from pelvic floor dysfunction. It has similarities to the ancient yogic breathing exercise called uddiyana bandha. THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES:

1.)  Eight Weeks of Online Classes

* Each class is 75-90 minutes of theory, instruction and practice with
 Q & A included

* Each week will come with written instructions and pictures of homework

2.)  Two Home Practice Videos:

* Intro Video (shorter practice for when you don’t have as much time)


* Level 1 Video (full practice) 


* Both home practice videos include tutorials of the breathwork, tutorials for each posture in that video and a voiceover sequence to follow along.

3) Two 1:1 sessions with Dr. Somer

Having taught Yoga since 2002, she now teaches Kundalini Yoga and Low Pressure Fitness (LPF). She’s been traveling the world most of 2018 teaching LPF and has seen amazing, quick results with students repetitively! Her teaching style integrates alignment cues grounded in therapeutics and unique cues to help direct energy and uplift the Spirit.
